Xtreme Harbourside and Generation Youth are the youth ministries of Harbourside CLC. Both groups meet every Friday at 7:30pm during the school term in our Retro Café at church.


We hold great meetings with practical and relevant teaching straight from God’s word, an open café for drinks and snacks, interactive games, fun and friendship. Youth meetings should be an essential part of every young persons week, and we encourage you to come along to make friends, have fun and most importantly have an encounter with God.

Hi Friends

What an incredible year this has been in the life of our church! God has poured out His Spirit and anointing over this place and we are moving forward from strength to strength, growing in size, influence, and relevance. Who could have imagined what God had in store for this great church when we heard the vision for the year “Bringing in the Harvest in 2006?”

God has a plan and a vision for our lives just as we do, and the most important thing we can accomplish as young people is to spend time with Him, understanding what His vision and plan is for our life.

Over the years I have met many young people, who don’t have a vision or a goal for their life. Sadly, many of them lack the confidence or motivation to even seek one out.
But God didn’t make us so. He placed in us an incredible ability to accomplish, achieve, rule, reign, conquer and have great success. It’s so important for us to understand the heart of God to be able to achieve the amazing plan and purpose He has for our life.

There are some important truths we must all believe and confess over our lives so that we can all walk confidently on the path of His plan for our life:

  1. We are children of God – 1 John 3:2 says “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God.”

    Confess that you are a child of God, you have a significant place in this world, and a God ordained purpose on earth. Never allow yourself to think your life is meaningless or not worthwhile.

  2. God loves us – John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will never die, but have eternal life”
    Understand that it didn’t take a lot of God’s time to create the world, but it took everything God had, His one and only Son, to save the world. There must have been something very important He wanted to save, YOU!

  3. His plans are good – Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the thoughts I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope”
    Know that God wants your life to be great! He loves you, considers you His child and has created a great destiny for you that extends beyond the reaches of this world, into eternity itself.

We must be convinced of His love, this is called FAITH. Without faith in Him and in His love for us, we will struggle to find His plan for our life and begin the great journey of accomplishing it.I really pray these words touch your heart and you make the decision to believe them.

What God has planned for your life, is big, powerful, anointed and exciting. Spend time seeking Him, and I know He will lead you along the great and awesome path of your destiny in Him.
